What is Digital Printing? We take stock fabrics that you commonly buy and print your design on the fabric. We will take your personal design file and print on a fabric of your choice with low minimums. 

What is the process? You send us your personally designed image for review and select a base fabric. Once your file is received our design team will review your file for file integrity and proper repeat if applicable. If your image appears to need modifications we will promptly contact you with all options to resolve any issues to get you on your way to production.
We suggest you print a 1 yard strike off for your own approval. (Strike Off) We print 1 yard of the exact file you’ve supplied on the fabric you chose, giving you the opportunity to see exactly what your final product will result in. You will receive a “Strike off Approval Form” with your order verification, once you receive the “Strike off” you can return the Strike off approval form via email or call us approving the print. If adjustments are needed then a new Strike Off will be required.
 
Base Fabrics: Unlike Sublimation which requires 100% Polyester, our process is capable of printing on 100% Cotton, Poly/Cotton, Polyester, Linen, Silk Nylon, Wool, etc. up to 66” in width. Carr Textile offers over 100 stocked base cloths and recommend using one in our inventory so that you can save shipping and time on your order. Depending on the brightness of the base cloth (white point) and texture, each fabric can print a color variance.
 
We also offer sublimation on our Polyester fabrics as well!
 
Color Matching:
DESIGNS WILL HAVE COLOR VARIANCE FROM YOUR COMPUTER SCREEN TO A PHYSICAL PRINTED FABRIC. DIFFERENT PRINTING PROCESSES PRODUCE DIFFERENT OUTPUTS. WE RECOMMEND ORDERING A STRIKE OFF FOR EACH DESIGN AND BASE FABRIC FOR APPROVAL. CUSTOMERS THAT FOREGO THE STRIKE OFF APPROVAL PROCESS WILL NOT HAVE ANY RECOURSE ON THE PRINTED PRODUCT.
 
Finish: Fabrics that have Water Repellant, Polyethylene (PU) coatings, Stain Repellant, Soil Release, Moisture Management will not print properly. These finishes repel the ink as it is applied. If a customer chooses to print on these fabric there is no guarantees on the print quality and performance of fabric. The amount of special finish applied to each lot varies so the ink saturation will be different each time the fabric is printed. A fabric may work one time and not the next time. NO GUARANTEES ON FABRICS WITH SPECIAL FINISHES.
 
Copy Right: Can I use patterns that have copyrights? NO. You cannot use designs that you do not own or have permission to reproduce. Carr Textile assumes that any designs provided have no copyright issues and the customer has permission to use designs or that it is an original artwork that is owned or authored by the customer. Further, the Customer indemnifies Carr Textile from any copyright infringement.
 
Strike Off: We recommend getting a strike off of your design on the fabric you have chosen at 1 yard ($50). Please note that these printed fabrics are made custom to each customer and are not returnable.
If you wave this step, we are not responsible for the final printed product due to unexpected results by the customer (Color variations – Inaccurate scale – Incorrect repeat…etc.) Again, production yardage is not returnable.
