The Organic Cotton fabrics meet GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Standards certified by The Control Union, an International Organic/Sustainable Certification Group formerly known as SKAL. This organization ensures that every strand of cotton yarn up to the finished rolls of fabric is made within these recognized organic standards.
This new line of fabric was brought about with Environmental and Social Responsibilities in mind. Organic Cotton is grown without the use of pesticides. Conventional cotton products use approximately one pound of chemicals to grow three pounds of cotton. In addition to using Organic Cotton and/or Recycled Polyester, the dyeing process of the fabric is also certified to be safe for the environment meeting OEKO-TEX standard 100.
